I found a nice nude photo on the Internet some 10 years ago. When I got my Wacom tablet, I decided to give it a try and create a female nude stencil, and out of all my reference photos, I picked that one because the body resembled that of a certain ex of mine. The face of my nude look more like my ex than the model’s, and the hairstyle and piercings also resemble that of my ex.
After that, I was too lazy to actually cut the stencil for many years. Instead I added some digital colour to the stencil, and a purple background, and then I almost forgot about it.
Then, one fine day, I printed it on 4 sheets A4 paper, pasted those onto an A2 vinyl sheet, and worked on that with my x-acto knife until I couldn’t feel my fingers anymore. When the stencil was finished, I decided to test it on my wall, since I always use my walls as a giant canvas. It’s a mirror image since I flipped the stencil over, because it wouldn’t lay flat the other way around, and I was out of patience.
The plain outlines looked a little boring, and I had lots of red paint left, so I shaded it during the next few days, working on it whenever I felt like it. Afterwards, I added some silver for the jewelry.
What do you think?
Actually shows the process of piercing a nipple rather well.
